Inaugural UoM-IBM Scholarship

The Melbourne Materials Institute (MMI) of the University of Melbourne (UoM) and the IBM Almaden Research Lab have established a joint PhD scholarship program to support the best and brightest student to take on the projects outlined on the MMI website. The scholarship will provide joint supervision by Researchers from IBM Almaden Lab in San Jose, California and at UoM. Travel funds for the collaborative research work will be awarded. The PhD scholarship includes a generous tax-free living stipend and fee remission scholarship for candidates for up to 3.5 years. Interested applicants should submit an expression of interest as per the guidelines outlined on the website. Applications are now open and will close on the 3 March 2014.
