The MS&T Plenary Session is on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, 8:30 a.m. – noon in Ballroom 1 of the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio, USA. “Grasping Excellence: Opportunities for Science and Engineering Research, Education and Workforce Development in the United States” will feature Dr. Subra Suresh, Director of the United States National Science Foundation, and will be followed by several prominent speakers including: Dr. Carl E. Wieman, Associate Director for Science, Office of Science and Technology Policy, The White House, Dr. Jeffrey Wadsworth, President and Chief Executive Officer, Battelle Memorial Institute, and Alton D. Romig Jr., Vice President and General Manager of Advanced Development Programs, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, on related topics. A Question & Answer session will follow.
